We close our 29th season with a transcendent journey into the realm of the muses. Rebecca Clarke’s delicate portrait of the god of dreams is a miniature treasure of color and texture, and Richard Danielpour brings radiant lyricism and emotional warmth to Rilke’s towering text. Like a gift from the gods themselves, Brahms’ B Major Piano Trio survived a major transformation from youthful conception to the soul-stirring masterpiece that continues to inspire.
