concert 4: upon the wind your music floats

Saturday, March 26, 2011, 8 PM
Sunday, March 27, 2011, 3 PM

Goethe-Institut, Boston, 170 Beacon Street

with guest artists Elizabeth Keusch, soprano & Nicholas Tolle, cimbalom

Join us as we explore the Austro-Hungarian tradition through the eyes of the extraordinary Hungarian composer György Kurtág, looking from Bartók – his “mother tongue” – to Schubert and Schumann. His vivid, expressionistic style condenses infinite complexities into fragile, fleeting miniatures that conjure whirlwinds of emotion.
